As hurricane Michael passed by Florida on Wednesday it leaves a massive amount of destruction. The weather channel states that ¨more then 1.5 million homes and businesses have lost power¨. Some water rescues have already taken place in Virginia. So far people believe hurricane Michael is to be blamed for 18 deaths and is expected to rise. Michael is a category 4 storm located on the Florida panhandle. Six states have declared it a state of emergency. These states are Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. The estimated number of people who have been evacuated is 325,000. 200 people are being evacuated from 2 hospitals in Florida says ABC news. The American Red Cross has sent 500 people to affected areas. The hurricane is still taking place so we will keep you updated.
